Fossil Mint is found in Gwalior and the surrounding region, which is about 200 miles south of Delhi. This is one of the most popular stones to be exported from India. It is a creamy colour with slight shades of greens, greys and browns in some of the stones. It also has the occasional plant fossil and sometimes fossils of small reptiles have been found.
